<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which effectively utilizes a calendar function. <P>SOLUTION: A ROM 30 stores inputted messages related to appointed dates and times. Until the appointed date and time, the difference between the appointed date and time and the present date and time (e.g. difference date and time) is calculated and its difference value is shown on a display 70, together with the message, this facilitating grasping the remaining number of days and time for the appointed date and time. When the appointed date and time are reached, a message of the effect is shown on the display 70, to facilitate the recognition of the appointed date and time reached. Thus a schedule up to the appointed date and time can be controlled, utilizing a calendar function of a composite machine 1, and hence the calendar function is effectively utilizable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
