<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion oxide semiconductor electrode capable of expanding degree of freedom of selection of a substrate, excellent in energy conversion efficiency and environment-friendly toward mass-production, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar battery using it. <P>SOLUTION: This dye-sensitized solar battery has the photoelectric conversion oxide semiconductor electrode with dye formed on its surface, an opposite electrode forming a couple with it, and a charge transfer layer in contact with them. The photoelectric conversion oxide semiconductor electrode has a substrate having a conductive surface, an oxide semiconductor film formed on the conductive surface, and the organic dye formed on the oxide semiconductor film. A junction promoting film for improving the junction property between the conductive surface and the oxide semiconductor film is interlaid between the conductive surface of the substrate and the oxide semiconductor film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
