<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal unit for determining 'YES' or 'NO' of printing the received data as a user wishes even when receiving the data associated with a request for print suppression during the reception, and a method for controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: The print data is received by the communication terminal unit via a LAN 19, and stored in a RAM 13. The user selects whether or not the received data is printed or automatically printed by using a keyboard 15. A CPU 11 analyzes the information on the print suppression added to the received data. When printing of the received data is selected, the printer 14 prints the received data irrespective of the kind of the information on the analyzed print suppression. When no-printing of the received data is selected, the printer 14 does not print any received data irrespective of the kind of information on the analyzed print suppression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
