<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises chemically etching a metallic sheet covered with a photoresist, providing controlled patterns of cavities on one side of the metallic sheet and perforations on another side of the metallic sheet, and depositing electrochemically active segments on a perforated face of the metallic sheet.
