<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal separator for a fuel cell and its manufacturing method capable of maximally bringing out a reducing effect of contact resistance by gold covering such as gold plating, and reducing costs by reducing a used amount of gold. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive inclusion forming a conductive path is exposed on a surface of the separator having corrosion resistance, and gold is selectively deposited on the exposed conductive inclusion. A form of the conductive inclusion protruding from the surface of the separator is favorable from a perspective of further reducing the contact resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
