LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery free of internal shortcircuiting and excellent in the safety and the discharge rate characteristics by structuring so that a bunch of electrodes in which positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates are consolidated through separators is accommodated in a case.

SOLUTION: The separator of this lithium secondary battery is composed of a base having a high resistance against heat and a higher melting temperature than the temperature at which the positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates are consolidated and a polymer layer consisting of a polymer substance having a lower melting temperature.
