PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system in which the presence of an intruder to an absent master's home can be recognized easily by using a telephone terminal from an outing destination and the cost of equipment of the system is also reduced. SOLUTION: In data terminal equipment 1, the human-body detecting information of a human-body sensor 11 detecting a person is stored in an external RAM 12 in which the information is conserved, and the equipment 1 has an information transmission section 15 responding and transmitting human-body detecting information stored in the external RAM 12 to the telephone terminal in response to an inquiry from the telephone terminal on the outside.
