PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply for electronic equipment which is turned on and off, by pressing a turning knob after a signal level is changed by turning the knob to be turned on and off at a position of a prefixed signal level. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is provided with a box-shaped body; a panel fixed to the surface of the body; and a switching and volume section which is installed in the inside of the panel, is provided with a turnable shaft, and turns on and off the power supply to the equipment, when the shaft is moved in the axial direction by changing the resistance value of a variable resistor provided in the equipment through the rotation of the shaft; and the turning knob which rotates in a state with the knob fixed to the shaft and a cylindrical section which is set up between the knob and switching and volume section and has a hole slid on the shaft. The knob is provided with a projecting section on its surface facing the cylindrical section, and the cylindrical section is provided with a recessed section, in which the projecting section of the knob is fitted on its surface facing the knob.
