PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both prevention of temperature rise at a non-paper-feed part and securing of fixability of end parts of a recording material. SOLUTION: TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) at end parts of a heating element is made smaller than the TCR at a center part. The TCRs at the center part and the end parts are to be both positive, or that at the center part positive and the end parts negative, and resistances of the center part and the end parts are to be equal around a fixation temperature.
