The expanding adapter for a winding roller, to wind yarns or webs or textile piecegoods, has at least two identical linear profiles (1) where their ends have complementary locks which allow a diametrical expansion which can be fixed at the internal diameter of the winding core. When locked together, they form an inner (1c) and an external (1d) bearing mounting. The inner bearing mounting forms a bore to work with a unit to expand the profiles simultaneously and diametrically against the interior of the winding core. The profiles are fixed by couplings (2) and elastic restraints (4).
