<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of rationally utilizing a storage medium by improving a storage method to the storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: The storage method can designate a mode to the digital camera wherein an image is stored in a storage memory in the case of detecting loading of an ordinary storage medium and the image is stored in an internal memory and transferred to the storage medium in the case of detecting loading of a write once storage medium. When no designation is made, the image is directly stored in the write once storage medium. When a remaining capacity of either of the internal memory and the storage medium is lost, the image is stored automatically to the other. The storage method has a mode wherein the transfer of image is set as a premise and when no residual capacity exists in the write once storage medium, the storage is inhibited even when the internal memory has a residual capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
