PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POTS (plain old telephone service) splitter which prevents voice band insertion loss characteristics from being disturbed even if plural POTS splitters are connected in parallel at xDSL subscriber premise. SOLUTION: A low pass filter circuit in the POTS splitter 1 is composed of a pair of first inductors L1, L1', a first capacitor C1 connecting the first inductors L1, L1', a pair of second inductors L2, L2', and a second capacitor C2 connecting the second inductors L2, L2', in order from the circuit side. The first inductors L1, L1' have 'L' shaped non-linear characteristics to the current. And, the third inductor L3 connected in series, the third capacitors C3, C3', and resistors R3, R3' form the POTS splitter for parallel connection arranged in the low pass filter circuit.
