BUFFERING PULLEY

PURPOSE: A buffering pulley is provided to lengthen the life span by preventing damage of a timing belt with absorbing impact through a spring, and to improve driving experience by restricting vibration. CONSTITUTION: A pulley(1) is combined with a timing belt(2) having gear teeth(21) and a power shaft(5) of an engine or a motor, and composed of gear teeth(14) engaged with the timing belt. The pulley is divided into an inner central body(3) connected to the power shaft and an outer body(4) transmitting power to the timing belt. Spline teeth(31) are formed around the central body, and a spline groove is formed in the bore of the outer body. The inner body and the outer body are interlocked by engaging the spline teeth with the spline grooves. A spring(6) is inserted between the spline teeth and the spline grooves to absorb impact in driving the power shaft.
