<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve an occasional problem that a wire 5 is not cut off at an edge of a terminal 8a but at a point between the terminal 8a and a clamper 4. <P>SOLUTION: A method for processing a terminal of an automatic winder comprises a wire holding part 1 which has a nozzle 3 for guiding the wire 5 to a winding part, and the clamper 4 for holding an end 5a of the wire through a through hole of this nozzle 3. The wire holding part 1 is operated to rotate so as to rotate a tip of the nozzle 3 around the terminal 8a of the winding part, thereby winding the wire on the terminal. When, in a state that an end 5a of the wire is held by the clamper 4, the nozzle 3 is rotated a plurality of times around the terminal 8a of the winding part to wind the wire 5 on the terminal 8a, the wire holding part 1 is rotated so as to plot oval trajectories 11, 12, 13, 14 which comes to gradually enlarge each time the tip of the nozzle 3 is rotated after another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
