<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector which is high luminance, superior in durability and productivity and preventing unevenness in luminance due to a distortion when the distortion occurs in the reflector, the reflector preventing the occurrence of a luminescent line, a side light type backlight device integrated with the reflector and a lamp reflector and a liquid crystal display using the reflector. <P>SOLUTION: In the reflector, a reflecting layer is laminated directly or through a resin layer on a layer provided with viscosity or adhesiveness.
