PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board that can be connected surely to a connector, and to provide a method of mounting the connector on the surface of the board. SOLUTION: The circuit board 1 is used for mounting the connector 2 fitted with a CPU. The board 1 has a land section 5 soldered to the connection 12 of a terminal 11 fitted to the connector 2. In a perforating step, an upwardly expanded filled hole 7 is formed at the center of the land section 5 through both sides of the circuit board 1. After the hole 7 is formed, the hole 7 is filled with cream solder 6 in the next filling step. In the next positioning step, the connector 2 is placed on the circuit board 1 by positioning the connector 2 by bringing the connection 12 into contact with the cream solder 6. In the next heating step, in addition, the connection 12 is soldered to the land section 5 by melting the cream solder 6. When the cream solder 6 in the filled hole 7 is melted, the melted solder becomes a ball-like shape due to its surface tension and protrudes from the surface of the land section 5.
