PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability laser module and a method for manufacturing the laser module by efficiently suppressing deterioration of laser characteristics. SOLUTION: The saturated concentration of outgas component from an adhesive after deaeration becomes lower than 1,000 ppm by using an amount of an organic adhesive per sealed volume at a rate of 1.0 g/ml or less. In this way, the amount of a decomposed substance generated by decomposition of the outgas component by laser light is reduced and deterioration of the module is remarkably suppressed.
