PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a penetrating current without the occurrence of an output signal waveform distortion due to an insensitive zone, in an amplifier the output stage of which is configured with a MOS transistors. SOLUTION: When a MOS transistor M1 is in an operational state, the electric potential of a node A is decreased by a current mirror circuits 15 and 14 to turn the other MOS transistor M2 off, by detecting the voltage between the gate and the source of the MOS transistor M1 with a transistor M3 and generating a detection current Idct1 flowing through a resistor element R1. When the MOS transistor M2 is in an operational state, the electric potential of a node B is decreased by a current mirror circuits 16 and 13 to make the other MOS transistor M1 off state, by detecting the voltage between the gate and the source of the MOS transistor M2 with a transistor M4 and generating a detection current Idct2 flowing through a resistor element R2.
