PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording paper which prevents the vanishing of a recording image due to humidity and heat without generation of halation by containing an electron donating dye, an organic acid and a specified phenol compound. CONSTITUTION:A virtually colorless electron donating dye[e.g. 3-diethylamino- 6-chloro-7-(beta-ethoxyethyl) amino fluorene], an organic acid able to develop color in contact therewith[e.g. 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy phenyl) propane]and a phenol compound {e.g. bis-[3, 3-bis-( 4'-hydroxy-3'-t-butyl phenyl )-butanoic acid]glycol ester} given by the formula (where, R1 represents C3-8 alkyl, R2H, C3-8 alkyl, R3 H, C1-3 alkyl, R4 H, C1-8 alkyl and n=1-3) are dispersed in separate solutions at a rate of 5-200wt% with respect to the organic acid. The dispersed solutions thus obtained are mixed and stirred and then, applied on a supporting body to obtain the intended recording paper. |
