PURPOSE: A sinker of fishing net used to keep the fishing net in desirable depth of regions under the sea is provided to restrict use of lead material but replace it by iron and stainless steel to produce the sinker to result in protection of sea environment due to corrosion an abrasion of the lead products. CONSTITUTION: The sinker comprises a spherical body(1) made of iron and stainless steel, a wire insertion hole(4) formed by transversally perforating center portion of the spherical body(1); thread-inserting grooves(5) formed on top and bottom portions of the spherical body(1); a wire(2) inserted through the wire insertion hole(4) to connect a plurality of sinkers; and threads(3) coupled to the wire(2) through the insertion hole(5). Length of the wire(2) is determined by considering numbers of the sinker according to types of the fishing net.
