<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for image evaluation and an image forming device, which are applicable to all images. <P>SOLUTION: The method for image evaluation evaluates an image by the uniformity of the image which is calculated on the basis of dot physical shape information related to physical shapes of dots constituting the image, dot color information related to colors of dots, relative position information of dots, visual characteristics functions representative of spatial frequency characteristics of the human vision, and observational condition information related to observational condition of image observation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
