<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the configuration of a monitor for performing monitoring by measuring the distance of an object on the basis of a stereo image photographed on the basis of a parallax image method in real time and obtaining information related to the movement of the object to specify a monitoring object. <P>SOLUTION: A stereo image photographing means 2 photographs a plurality of objects having a shape characteristic point to obtain a stereo moving image, a parallax vector operating means 12 calculates a parallax vector and distance information of each characteristic point of each object of the stereo moving image, an object determining means 14 specifies a correspondence relation between the object and the characteristic point on the basis of the distance information, a position information specifying means 16 detects a monitoring target object on the basis of the moving information of the specified object, and a monitoring information generating part 18 notifies the monitoring target object, thus configuring an object monitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
