PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that photographing turns out to be failure and must be executed again with a conventional cellular telephone equipped with a camera in many cases, and that a photographing mode must be switched to a reproducing mode when confirming a photographed image and these operations are troublesome. SOLUTION: In a camera mode, a foldable cellular telephone set 10 changes from an open mode to a closed mode, the telephone set 10 turns into a photographing mode for performing photograph with a camera 15. In the photographing mode in the closed state, an image captured by the camera 15 is displayed on a display section 14 arranged on the external surface of an upper case unit 11. When a shutter button 22 is depressed, the image displayed on the section 14 is photographed with the camera 15, the signal of the image captured by the camera 15 is stored in a RAM, and the image is displayed on the section 14. In the closed state, the telephone set 10 is automatically switched into the reproducing mode for reading out the image signal stored in the RAM and displayed on a display section 16.
