PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-carrier transmission apparatus capable of reducing band radiation caused when a peak of a multi-carrier modulation signal is suppressed. SOLUTION: The multi-carrier transmission apparatus of this invention is configured to include: a guard interval (GI) attachment section 4 for attaching a guard interval to the multi-carrier modulation signal; and a peak suppression section 5 for adaptively calculating a gain so that the amplitude of the signal with the guard interval attached thereto approaches a prescribed threshold value, and using the gain to suppress the peak power of the signal with the guard interval attached thereto.
