PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system for lens system for automatically managing a diagnostic history without the need for the effort and time of an operator and capable of easily referencing past diagnostic results. SOLUTION: When the operator uses a program of the FIND system installed in a personal computer 16 for diagnosing a lens to select a diagnostic history display mode, the personal computer 16 displays a diagnostic history display picture as shown in Fig. 21. The names of types of lenses diagnosed in the past are displayed on a left side frame and the diagnostic history corresponding to the selected name of lens type is displayed on a right side frame, in the picture.
