PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case capable of reliably carrying out self- cleaning. SOLUTION: In this battery case wherein a battery connecting terminal 13 formed by a blade spring is provided on the bottom wall 12a of a cylindrical case body 10, and a cylindrical battery 20 is loaded from the opening of the case body to force the end face electrode 21 of the battery into contact with the battery connecting terminal 13, a plurality of springs 14 are provided on the side wall 12 of the case body 10 at regular intervals in the circumferential direction of the side wall to position the battery 20 at the axial center of the case body 10 by these springs 14.
