PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable diverse service designs by preparing a communication device which receives various information and can perform various processes in combination by using the received information for communication between communication terminals using a network and to provide a base which is speedily adaptive to variation of service contents. SOLUTION: The communication device which receives and interprets service contents information described by using a tag type language, etc., and performs processes according to the interpretation is arranged between the communication terminals. This communication device can combine and execute a plurality of processes according to the description contents of the information and design various services. Further, the communication obtains a program for updating processing method definitions for connecting the service contents information with the processes through the Internet, etc., and can speedily alter the processing method definitions of the devices which are decentralized and arranged and the whole system is speedily adaptive to alterations of the service contents.
