PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit having a wide range of sound reproducing ability by reducing the resonance peak of its frequency characteristic. SOLUTION: By making the radius of curvature R<SB>1</SB>of an internal circumference diaphragm 10a different from the radius of curvature R<SB>2</SB>of an external circumference diaphragm 10b, the resonance frequency of the internal diaphragm 10a becomes different from that of the external diaphragm 10b. Besides, the area S<SB>1</SB>of the internal diaphragm 10a is made equal to the area S<SB>2</SB>of the external diaphragm 10b, to make the sound pressure levels of both diaphragms 10a and 10b equal.
