<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting shelf assignment featuring a commodity to be emphasized to customers by three-dimensionally displaying the image of a shop on the whole after the shelf-assignment. <P>SOLUTION: An information management unit connected to a shelf assignment terminal unit via a communication network comprises a database comprising shop layout information, display shelf information, shelf information and commodity information, a shelf assignment means, and a display means. The shelf assignment means compares the shelf information and the commodity information based on the condition of the object for the shelf assignment from the shelf assignment terminal unit, and assigns the commodity information to the shelf information of shelves whose commodity group is the same based on the shelf assignment priority condition. The display means assigns the 3D commodity image of the commodity information to the 3D shelf image of the shelf information, and assigns the 3D shelf image to the 3D display shelf image of the display shelf information. Then the 3D display shelf image is assigned to the 3D shop layout image of the shop layout information, and the 3D commodity image in a prescribed range of the shelf assignment priority condition is emphatically displayed in displaying the 3D shop image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
