PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data supply system that can effectively prevent both an unauthorized copy of a file for installation on a PC as well as unauthorized copies such as applications and contents, which are written in terminals of PDA, etc. SOLUTION: A password is generated by a password generating means 123 in a password supply device 121 using only a terminal ID 103, or both the terminal ID 103 and PC-ID. The password is written in an original data 115 and customized, and an unauthorized user is automatically determined when installed and/or executed. Consequently, permission is not given to activation of the installed program in an unauthorized PC 105, installation to an unauthorized terminal 101, and execution of the program in the unauthorized, terminal 101.
