PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen to be stored in various portable information terminals 11 with different shaped storage parts 11A. SOLUTION: An open window 7B is formed in a rear shaft cylinder 7, and a projection 8A of a lock member 8 is set in the open window 7B. By energizing the lock member 8 in the outer peripheral direction with an elastic body, the projection 8A of the lock member is made to project from the open window 7B of the rear shaft cylinder 7 appropriately, and the projection 8A of the lock member 8 is pressed on the inner surface of the storage part 11A of the portable information terminal 11. Accordingly, the input pen can be securely stored in the storage part 11A without being oscillated even if a gap is formed between the shaft cylinder and the storage part 11A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
