PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic data download system and method, particularly, capable of checking a local database before downloading data through a network, and downloading only the data that are not stored in the local database. SOLUTION: In this automatic data download system and method, based on a download condition set by a user, data matching with the condition are automatically downloaded through the network. In order to prevent the duplicate download of data which are already stored, the local database is checked.
