PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode-ray tube with simple focusing adjustment by correcting the focusing voltage difference using a pre-focusing lens with a relatively large degree of freedom. CONSTITUTION:For the hole diameter of the second grid electrode G2, pre-focusing is reinforced by making the hole diameter of both sides smaller than the central hole diameter. Besides, a plate thickness difference is provided between the central electron lens Lc of the second grid electrode and the electron lens L on both sides. As a result, the focusing voltage of each electron gun can be matched by pre-focusing correction and a cathode-ray tube with exceedingly high quality and good focusing can be obtained in a terminal display and the like. |
