PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove distortions generated in a nonlinear element, such as an amplitude amplifier, when performing power amplification in a linear amplifying method for amplifying by converting an input signal to two constant amplitude signals, wherein amplitude fluctuations are converted to phase information by using a nonlinear element. SOLUTION: In a power amplification method based on a linear amplification, an input signal is converted to two divided signals having constant amplitudes wherein amplitude fluctuations of the input signal are converted to phase information, and the two divided signals are amplified, composed and output as output signals. Phases of the two division signals are controlled and distortions of amplitudes of the output signals are corrected in accordance with a comparison result of the input signal and the output signal.
