PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of an etchant used for roughening the surface in manufacturing a resin wiring board. SOLUTION: In an electrolytic regeneration tank 1 for electrolytically regenerating the etchant, a snaking channel for flowing meanderingly from its receiving ports 16 toward feeding ports 25 is formed, and a plurality of regeneration electrodes 79 are arranged at certain intervals almost in the whole range between the upstream position and the downstream position of the snaking channel. Since the etchant fed into the electrolytic regeneration tank 1 is electrolytically regenerated by being in contact with the regeneration electrodes 79 while being flown down the snaking channel. Since a large amount of the etchant can be in contact with the regeneration electrodes 79, the whole etchant can be electrolytically regenerated efficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
