PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recording apparatus realizing intuitional discrimination of a voice start level to thereby easily adjust the start level. SOLUTION: In the voice recording apparatus having a voice start recording function which compares received voice level with a set voice start level and repeats a recording state or a recording standby state on the basis of the result of comparison for recording voice, display of a display apparatus is switched to a level setting menu 13E at voice start level adjustment, an input voice level meter 131 displays a voice input level EL received at present in real time, and the input voice level meter 131 displays an adjustment setting voice start level TH as a voice start level display 132.
