PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in weight and cost an overall rotor while a magnetic flux flowing through a magnet can be sufficiently circulated. SOLUTION: The rotor for a motor comprises the magnet 12 made of a sintered material of a magnetic powder in which a flow of the magnetic fluxϕis oriented in polar anisotrop fashion. A plurality of this magnet 12 are arranged at poles alternately differentiated at a stator side of a frame 11 made of a magnetic material. Thus, most of the fluxϕflowing through the one magnet 12 is sufficiently circulated and hence flowed to the frame 11 so that a circulating part is reduced. Accordingly, a thickness as a back yoke is not necessary in the frame 11, and a ring as a second back yoke is not required as well. Further, a mold 13 of a synthetic resin is needed to be reduced in volume. As a result, the weight of the entirety is reduced, and a cost is also decreased as well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
