PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet setup box capable of controlling restarting or power-saving with a simple operation with user-friendliness and saving the energy so as to maintain the lifetime of the setup box. SOLUTION: The Internet setup box receives a control signal sent from an external device to control a television screen, and comprises: a reception module for receiving the control signal sent from the external device; a decoder for generating a first decoding signal or a second decoding signal on the basis of the control signal from the external device; a reset means for restarting the Internet setup box on the basis of the first decode signal generated from the decoder; and a central arithmetic processing unit for controlling power saving of the television screen on the basis of the second decoding signal produced from the decoder.
