PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention apparatus in which short-circuit or malfunction of a sensor part is reduced even when water infiltration takes place. SOLUTION: The crime prevention apparatus is composed of a sensor unit 1 formed by housing a sensor part B mounted on the outdoor side of an entrance door for detecting the presence/absence of a human being in a casing A, an apparatus body 2 of the crime prevention apparatus housing an alarm raising part K mounted on the indoor side of the entrance door for raising an alarm when the sensor part B detects the person and a connection part 3 placed on the upper end of the entrance door for connecting the sensor unit 1 and the apparatus body 2 of the crime preventive apparatus, the inside of the casing A is provided with partition walls 10a and 11a vertically partitioning the inside of the casing A of the sensor unit 1, a housing part S for housing the sensor part B is formed on the downside of the partition walls 10a and 11a, the upper face of the bottom of a sensor cover part 12 forming the bottom of the housing part S is made into slope inclined to the back side of the sensor unit 1, and a water release hole 10q is provided on the lower end of the slope.
