摘要 PURPOSE: A carbon electrode coated with metal ion, a method for fabricating the same and a method for measuring density of an organic substance by using the same are provided to obtain chemical oxygen demand by measuring an oxide current value generated when oxidizing the organic substance. CONSTITUTION: 10g of copper oxide is used as a precursor and is immersed into 10ml of methyl alcohol so that copper oxide is dissolved. Then, copper oxide and methyl alcohol are mixed for 7-8 hours, thereby obtaining copper-metal alkoxide solution. After immersing carbon in the copper-metal alkoxide solution for 20 to 30 hours, carbon is subjected to a drying process for 2-3 hours in a temperature range about 80 to 100 deg.C. After performing a heat treatment process in a furnace, carbon is gradually cooled in a normal temperature. Then, carbon is again subject to the drying process at the temperature range about 80 to 100 deg.C, thereby coating copper oxide on a surface of carbon.
