<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper capable of easily carrying out decentering adjustment, its manufacturing method, an optical recording medium and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: One main surface of the stamper 12 is divided into a signal part SG and the marker part MK of its outer peripheral part, a signal part recessed/projected shape for transfer to a medium substrate are formed to a depth of 30 nm in the signal part SG, and a marker part recessed/projected shape having a track pitch set in the range of 0.4 to 1.6 μm are formed in the marker part MK. As the optical recording medium, in a recording medium in which a plurality of optical recording layers are laminated, at least one selected from the one-layer recessed/projected shapes of the optical recording layers is a recessed/projected shape having a depth of 30 nm or less, and a marker part recessed/projected shape separated from the marker part on its outer peripheral part and having a track pitch set in the range of 0.4 to 1.6 μm is formed in the marker part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
