<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart card resolving a problem of security, allowing remote issue and carrying services of a plurality of service providers. <P>SOLUTION: The smart card has a memory and a processor regarding an issuer, an owner and the service providers, an operating system having a tree like file structure starting from a file having a characteristic controlled only by the issuer, and a plurality of executable files forming a part of the tree like file structure and respectively having a characteristic controlled only by the issuer. The operating system also has a password file per each concerned part in correspondence to each concerned party such as the issuer, the owner and the service providers that can be accessed only by the concerned party and that is accessed by the concerned party before the concerned party can access to the executable file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
