METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ARTICLE OF COMMERCE INFORMATION, COMPUTER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article of commerce information providing system which eliminates the management burden of a database on a mediator and realize operation environment similar to that of a conventional mediation system.

SOLUTION: A computer 2 receives a choice of a web site where article of commerce information is retrieved from a previously registered web site group and downloads a web page from a WWW server 1 concerned with the received web site to display it in a browser. The computer 2 receives input of retrieved information in a web page displayed in the browser and the WWW server 1 performs distribution and distributes the article of commerce information to the computer 2. The computer 2 registers the article of commerce information displayed in the browser in a database while making it correspond to web site information specifying the web site and reads them out to output article information as the retrieval result of each web site while making it correspond to each of web site information.
