<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized three-dimensional input device with excellent operability. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional input device is for inputting the position and posture of a prescribed object. The device consists of a first input part 1 movable frontward/rearward, left/right and upward/downward, a second input part 2 supported by the first input part 1, rotatable around the axis of rotation in three directions, a detection means for detecting the position of the first input part 1 in the front/rear, left/right and up/down directions, and a detection means for detecting the angle of rotation in the three directions of the second input part held by an operator.
