<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a multi-relay communication by relaxing routing conditions through a relay device or an autonomous loop. <P>SOLUTION: In a device that relays a packet autonomously using a routing protocol, there are provided a relay stage number determination means 12 determining a packet relay stage number in the autonomous system to which the packet belongs or in the predetermined area that is division of the system; and a relay stage number adding section 14 in which, for a packet that is forwarded to an autonomous system to which the packet itself belongs or out of a predetermined area, the survival numerical value output from the packet itself is derived from adding a predetermined numerical value based on an output from the relay stage number determination section to an output from a survival number subtracter section 7 subtracting a survival number every time it relays a packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
