<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio relaying system for enhancing a transmission efficiency and reducing transmission power. <P>SOLUTION: The radio relaying system includes: an outdoor relay unit 2 installed outdoor and having first and second reception sections 13, 14; an indoor relay unit 3 installed at a dead band zone and having third and fourth reception sections 17, 18; and a digital transmission line 4 coupled to both the relay units. In the outdoor relay unit 2, the first reception section 13 is integrally assembled with an antenna 5 for receiving a high frequency signal from a base station, the outdoor relay unit 2 uses a digital processing unit to convert a frequency of the high frequency signal into a frequency in a required frequency band, processes an audio signal into a digital frequency band signal, transmits the digital signal to the indoor relay unit 3 through a digital transmission line, and the indoor relay unit up-converts the frequency of the received signal, converts the signal into the original signal, and uses a transmission antenna 7 integrated with the fourth reception section 18 to transmit the signal to a mobile station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
