HARD DISK DRIVE HAVING AIR FLOW ACCELERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive provided with an air flow accelerating device wherein a feature of taking-off and landing of a slider is improved, and damage and abrasion of a magnetic head and a disk are restricted. SOLUTION: The hard disk drive includes: a spindle motor 130 placed inside a housing having a prescribed inner space; a data storage disk 120 mounted on the spindle motor 130 by a disk clamp 160; an actuator 140 with a slider 142 mounted with a data write read magnetic head 141 turnably placed inside the housing; and the air flow accelerating device 170 placed at an inner circumferential side of the disk 120 to be driven together with the disk 120 and having at least one blade 174 for accelerating the velocity of air flowing between the slider 142 and the surface of the disk 120 during the rotating of the disk 120.
