摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system that can realize data communications to a radio terminal mounted on a vehicle moving at a high speed using small cells. SOLUTION: A plurality of radio base stations (AP) 101 are established along the course of a vehicle 110 and they radio-communicate with a radio terminal (PS) 112 to perform hand-off with the movement of the vehicle 110. The plurality of radio base stations (AP) 101 are connected to a radio control station 102 through optical fibers 105A and 105B, and frequency branching devices 104, and changing of connections between the radio control station 102 and the radio base stations (AP) 101 is performed by changing the optical frequency. Thereby, connection changing of the radio base stations can be performed at a high speed and at a low cost, and data communications to radio terminals can be realized using small cells.
