PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multifunctional peripheral equipment capable of selecting and accessing at least two external memories and performing the same processing at the same time. SOLUTION: This multifunctional peripheral equipment is provided with a memory selecting means for selecting at least two external memories among a plurality of external memories mounted attachably and detachably on a plurality of mounting means for mounting the plurality of external memories attachably and detachably, an accessing means for accessing the at least two external memories selected by the memory selecting means, and a controlling means for controlling the memory selecting means and the accessing means such that the accessing means accesses the at least two external memories with time division after the memory selecting means selects the at least two external memories.
