PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch enabling prevention of operation defect and defective article occurrence, both of which are caused by entry of a foreign matter like hair dust and so on into a space formed with a key dome and a contact point on a base plate, and enabling reduction in the whole manufacturing process number, by introducing automatic key dome installing process using an automatic installer wherein a sheet needed hitherto is saved. SOLUTION: The key switch that utilizes electrically conductive contact comprises a key button where keys are disposed, a key dome consisting of the key domes made of an electrically conductive material of the same number as that of the keys, and a base plate where respective contact points with respective key domes are disposed. Projections are disposed at upper portions inside the key domes, and the key dome is automatically installed on a surface of the base plate using the automatic installer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
